Custom PC!

Yup, I’m actually typing this from my brand new, custom-built PC.  It took me about seven to eight hours to put everything together and install Windows 7, but it is definitely worth it!  Now I know that I’ll never buy a pre-made PC ever again.  Pictures will come sometime soon. :D

One of the greatest songs ever to grace radio.  It’s quite fantastic. :D [Bobby Darin - Beyond the Sea]

Just about ready to begin building a PC; it will be my first time and I’m quite excited! :D

I simply cannot contain my excitement anymore.  Sly Cooper Thieves in Time is coming not only to PS3, but to PSVita as well!  It has a cross-save functionality; you can play the game from directly where you left off on both a Vita or PS3!  It’s going to be freaking awesome!  Seven years since the last Sly Cooper game, and I say that it has been worth the wait. :-D  Sanzaru Games, I simply cannot thank you enough.

This is precisely why I would love to have a GTA game centered from a police perspective.  It would be hilarious. :-D

My first impressions of the game are… well… Its pretty boring. I mean, there seems to be nothing to this game then just watching a bar move across a screen that says “Downloading”.

Okay, obviously this is a joke. I haven’t actually been able to play it yet, because it takes forever to download….

[Egad, really? xD]

One of my other friends over here was actually begging me to download DC Universe Online on Steam; I’d think there would be a larger playerbase on PC, but I could be wrong.  He didn’t take into account that my computer barely runs Team Fortress 2 though. :D

And the only other MMO on PS3 that I can think of at the moment was Test Drive Unlimited 2; it may have been a racing game, but your game had the opportunity to be populated by others that were online, just driving around or smashing into things.

Sleeping Dogs by United Front Games [and resurrected/published by SquareEnix] is going to be absolutely fantastic; the story revolves around an undercover police officer attempting to infiltrate the Hong Kong triads.  There are excellent gameplay mechanics, fighting styles borrowed from the Batman: Arkham Asylum/City and Yakuza games, driving from a bit of Need For Speed and Just Cause 2, sprawling worlds/side missions like Grand Theft Auto, etc.  It deserves attention as a new IP!  Originally known as True Crime Hong Kong, Activision [like the bastards they are] canceled the project at the last minute.  Thankfully, SquareEnix came along and saved it. ^^

It is going to be incredible, and I recommend that all fans of open-world sandboxes [That means you too, DarthDelgado! :-D] or crime centered games should try it out.]  As I understand, it releases on August 14th, 2012.

Still searching for a suitable first car; I’m leaning toward something much older than what is deemed modern.  I’d prefer something from one of the most interesting decades of American automobiles; the 1970s.  A Ford Maverick [pictured above] would be my first and foremost choice, provided it was a four-door model and the price was right.  I also wouldn’t mind a 1973-1977 Chevrolet Malibu [A trim level of the Chevelle at that time] or even something much, much later; a 1980s-1991 Ford LTD Crown Victoria.

^ A 1975 Chevrolet Malibu, in its four-door configuration.  I’ve always preferred to have four doors.

^ A 2nd Generation Ford LTD Crown Victoria.  A classic, and large American sedan.  Used as a police car for some time as well.

^ Ford did produce a police-spec version of the Maverick for a short amount of time. ^^

There was also a police-version of the LTD Crown Victoria as well; here’s another second-gen one.

Finally got around to preordering Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time on PS3.  The game is most definitely in good hands, and I can’t wait to pick up my copy.  ^^

A woman was struck down recently, and the driver fled the scene.  While she later died, the driver still has not been found.  The local police department are looking for details about the single part left behind.  See the link in the title of this post for the full article and story.
